We are delighted to announce that the 19
students from Year 7 are about to become published poets! They entered a
national 'Young Writers' competition and these 19 poets have been chosen
for publication at the end of June. The school will receive a copy of the
anthology and, at that point, the winner and runners up will be judged by the
organisers with a 1st prize of £500, a 2nd prize of £250 and a 3rd prize of
£100 coming to the school if they win.
This is tremendous for our students and we
are very proud of their success.
